Training and Support

We don’t just hire caregivers—we invest in them.

At Silvergrove, we provide full induction training for all new team members, including:

QQI Level 5 support (Healthcare Support Modules)
Manual handling, infection control, and elder care best practices
Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities
Shadowing and mentoring from senior carers
Regular team check-ins and support

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience?

Not necessarily. We welcome applications from caring individuals with or without experience. Training and support are provided.

Is a qualification required?

A QQI Level 5 is preferred, but you can still apply if you’re currently working toward it.

Will I have to drive?

Your role will require travel between clients, so access to a car is a plus. We reimburse mileage where applicable.

What areas do you cover?

We currently serve clients in Co. Meath and Louth
